Alrighty well Crash and I have been working hard on this map for the last few days (Crash especially) and we thought it was time to share some progress Smile









































Also i made a small GIF to show that some parts are destructible (nothing much but a single screenshot cant show much so i thought i would do an animated GIF)



Still WiP and some materials and parts of the map still need fixing.. but this is progress and your input is appreciated Salute

Thanks lol its actually 2 maps now, we had to split it up because source was overloading from all the brushes.. literally not displaying whole buildings because there were too many brushes displayed at once lol...

well, i know what a crap VALVe's maps are.

and looking at what you have put together from many different nightmareish fucked up Leak maps and polished it to one (or two) maps is simply outstanding. Crash did an awesome job (HE FUCKING RETEXTURED EVERYTHING) and he was right. the neon-look of Asian arcade centers really came out in the compiled map!

words can't describe what you've managed, so i will just call it "the best New City map ever created"

honestly thought the lighting was gonna come out darker than that :/ and wtf, i've changed that skybox 4 mother F)"*£$)&$ times now to the dark nighttime 01 sky and either hammer (or jenkins, if it is you THEN I KEEEEEEEELL YOU) keeps changing it :/. But atleast the hackadeturned out nicely ^^, the machines took me ages to remake and streamline them (still need some tweaks)

there is no referance pic lol i was merely comenting to the atmosphere, its dark foggy grimey and the lights are whitewashed....looks like an RtB pictured to me

you guys improved the atmosphere 100%, very nice job! like Doom said, a bit more darker outside would be better

there is a building which has light in EVERY window, this is unrealistic and i think you will fix it anyway
