Currently we are useing 1 beta map, and that is Proto_Core (as it's a perfect shape for the bottom of the last area). Other than that i've pretty much just borrowed brush work here and there, as jenkins said most of it is our work. The lab, The Ravine (Except the brush sub), the hospitol, tunnels E.T.C is all ours Smile

I MIGHT use 1 or 2 beta maps although they won't be anything major, like I dunno maybe a city street and something from the wasteland....

Uhh this map still needs alot of work, and after the first compile im getting 20fps on my i7 because of the amount of cables...

Well actulay, this is a mixture Smile

ya see, these are the ep2 re-edits. They are retail containers however valve just added to them, remember children, valve's id of NEW CONTENT is taking the old stuff and giving it a differnt colour ^^

*cough shotgunner guard, see-saw puzzle, cough cough cough*

Ep2 would have been THE PERFECT moment for valve to re-employ the assassins....but oh no why give the people something hard and well coded to go agasint, lets just reskin the combine soldier and give it a shotgun!!!! WOOT!!!!!!!

As I cannot compile maps atm (hammer is a pile of shit now and needs a quad core to even think of mapping in HD ¬_¬, that and jenkins is nowhere to be found :S ) I found this, forgot to show it off...

I give you:

We wanted our building to not only instill fear in people, but to be seen for miles around, further than anything



Started life out as a random wallpaper me and jenkins found on the net long long ago, I decided to incorporate some blade runner into the desighn
aswell as remembering valves better attempts at citadels





I also wanted this to look like paradise, even if its the most evilest place in the game, to acheive this i looked toward the old style of the game
I.E the further up the multi leveled city you got, the better it looked, so, a city within a city was born



last but not least, this is the skybox model...and although it may not look to big (you think) just use your mind for a second, here's a picture of our little freind, player_start, next to this monstrousity....
