That's a script-related issue. You see, the marching Soldiers aren't actually run by Scripted Sequences, but by Triggers. This means they have a very basic command running: Walk from point A to point B. The problem is that it doesn't specifiy on which animation should be used, so the combat animations are the default standard. I might change it once I figure out how to properly make scripted sequences.

Only problem is there's too many Scanners in the last pic, unless they're meant to show up after the parade gets ambushed or something.

That's just how the map works; it's supposed to have that many scanners.

The wire color problem is synonymous with the mod I'm playing it in. MI 1.5 is my workhorse now ever since SMOD 3.5 died.

soldiers have no proper marching animations

so until I get my old animating programS (with an S) back

it will have to wait

From an artistic point of view, that's kind of lame. Yes, the Nazi party was responsible for many horrible things and managed to get away with it for the most part. Their march was not part of that collective. Honestly, what would be the point of having it? It's not very practical or interesting. You could even say it's downright retarded, not to mention it doesn't even try to seem serious. I feel that the best course of action is to bring back the Walk_easy animation and maybe edit it so that the Combine Soldiers are looking left and right occasionally.

See I want a march, an in unison march, all together, no mistakes

it makes the soldiers feel robotic, not human

if they are casually walking looking around at the little butterflies N shit
it feels like they are too human with emotions and rational thought

the soldiers should feel like cold blooded emotionless robots

I mean maybe not a nazi march, but something other than a calm walk

they need to be in PERFECT unison, also in rows of like 5-7 each or something to seem more hive minded

Well the Combine Soldiers are former humans, so it'd make sense to give them at least a trace of emotion.

If you want them to feel a bit more emotionless that's fine, but the Nazi march is not the way to do it. It doesn't exactly strike terror as much as having a solid, standard, uniform march.

Beisdes, the soldiers in the beta sounded way more human than in Retail.
